National History Day 2013: turning-points in history
The television in 1950's America introduced a new era of entertainment and advances in technology. The television's invention also created many new post World War II jobs, which aided in the financial recovery of those who were in the war. During the 1950's, the television was making its way into every household in America and becoming a common ground across the region.
